2000 S4 6 speed vs Infiniti g35 coupe auto I'm asking becasue I wan to put 500 on it just want some input/maybe get a chip or no worries?

im not so sure about stock, but with a chip you should take him.

 

G35 coupe top end is better I think...and depends on the G35 model for ur 0-60...i'm stock and handed a new G35 sedan sport pck his *** this weekend.

 

I took a 350Z (essentially the same as a G35 coupe in a straight line) I have a Giac chip and catback. I reeled him in after spotting him half a car length or so. It had an aftermarket exhaust for sure but unsure of other mods. Couldn't be too many more or he wouldn't have lost. Those things can be made into beasts So you should be fine.

Wait NM its an auto you should roll him. If you wanna be sure chip your car the 500 you will win will pay for it and then you'll still have a chipped car

I took a stock G35 coupe in my relatively stock S4 (just Milltek exhaust) pretty handily about a month ago.

my little TT alms with just an apr chip does damage to the Z and G35. fwiw, and my S4 walked all over the Z. I can't stand the exhaust sounds from the Z either

 

You'll walk him by about two car lengths from a dead stop, on the hwy you'll be about the same, only up around 110 mph you will start to pull away slightly. I raced one last weekend. It was a stick, with intake and exhaust, lowered with some sweet deep dish rims, too bad he was so slow. By the way the only modification on my 01S4 is a turbo timer, and I have 110,000 miles on it. I also waxed a 5.0 that same day, realy bad. I dont know maybe my car was built on a good day or something, but I wouldnt worry about the g35 just dont pop yer clutch on the launch you might stall.

 

Thanks guys the info helped me I raced the guy and I got the 500 it was close the race ended with me finishing at just around 120 now the 500 will pay for the chip
