hell naw.. if you get a k03 car more than likely its chipped and 1+ ,2 or 2+. so your gonna blow the turbos soon..and if its not chipped you will chip it soon.. ko4 car is capable of handling much more boost, and honestly, if you get a b5 s4 your going to start modding, more than likely itll be a turbo upgrade, so if you get a car thats already had that done youll be set...

so yeah k04 much more reliable unless you drive like a granny then it dont matter or if you push the k04's to like 25psi constantly...on a road course like putnam or something..

Also one more question what do you guys reccomend Epl tuning stage 3 or a awe tuning stage3 because i was considering getting a 2002 s4 105k for 8k well maintained and when the turbos blow then i would get it an awe kit and get some friends to help me do the swap. Either that or buying a stage 3 for around 12-15k

i would go EPL or SSP or VAST or JHM before id go AWE... not to knock them. but they tend to be safer, more conservative.. ive seen a SSP car blow the doors off an APR car, and i think AWE may be a bit more aggressive than them..

Even Vast beat awe? Vast has really low prices on the Borg warner turbos but i dont know what fueling kit to get i was thinking vast turbos and SSP fueling also i like the awe kit because it has so many parts that you replace so that is a big plus

awe promises how much bhp?? i know that jhm, epl and vast all claim about 460 whp or so with meth on their RS6 kits.. so.. whatever man.. you cant go wrong with any of them really.. i promise though, if you get a vast, epl or ssp or jhm tuning/fueling you will be more happy than AWE or APR

its whatever you want.. i went RS6 turbos. i wouldnt go back..from about 3600 rpm to 7250 the push is relentless. the k04's spool sooner so there is more low end torque, no doubt, but the RS6 potential and push once boost hits is ridiculous... you could stay stock block for a while with the RS6's and then if you wanted more you could throw in some rods and turn the boost up.. k04's are running out of breath at 24psi or so.. mine pulls hard at 25psi to redline.. RS6's just have so much more volume.. and there are some stupid fast k04's out there.. theres just more upper end power with the RS6's....

I dont know if i could get the rs6 turbos just because the turbos are more expensive. Does the kit from the rs4k04 fit with the rs6 turbos because i found them for around 4k seperate from fueling and hoses etc.
