Thanks man.. I know everyone here is more biased..and no disrespect to people whp says it's a "volvo" but he is right it's not a regular soccer mom volvo.It's extremly fast and underrated from what I have heard and like I said I know someone with a chiped R that pulls away from M3's all day. The handling I agree that I don't think u can compare to the S4 but suspension mods can maybe fix that.. w'ell see like I said I am wokring on the lease #'s now with the s4

 

Why not get a Legacy Spec B..??? It is a grown up STI..

I was in the same boat as you.. but I wanted a Wagon so I test drove a V70R for about 100 miles, then a B5 S4 Avant..
the V70R was a AUTO and sucked *****.. it was slow off the line and hunted for the correct gear.. the V70(and S60R) is much bigger than the B5 S4..
In the end, I wanted the ability to get more power.. the V70R has a chip and exhaust.. the B5 S4 has everything including a FULL Factory 420++ HP kit (RS4)

So, I have a 01 S4 Avant 6 speed.. I love the zippyness, the stealthness and I get 24MPG(average) with a APR chip and a heavy foot..
the newer V8 S4 gets under 20 on the highway, like 16 average..

 

i'm with duglas, i think the new legacy spec b is the best sedan out there for the money right now. it is awesome!

i used to carpool with someone who drove a volvo.

every time i got picked up i always got sick after like 2 minutes...i hate the way those cars drive, absolutely sickening.

vovlos also rank tops when it comes to absolutely god awful interiors.

i really hate volvos.
