The real Debate, and this is clearly shown in Jeremy Clarkson's "The Good The Bad And the Ugly", is that american cars can't corner. ive driven 800 HP mustangs and ive driven a Z06, but they still use LEAF SPRINGS!!! they cant hold **** around a corner and understeer like a mother. so ill take my s4 over them all, cause you may be better in a straight line, but ill rape you through a hairpin.

you posted pictures off of the C5 corvette below SWEET JOB!! That amount you say is the price of their "race spec street car" you are talking about when all of the large after market entities get together and put their best on the line. Using lingenfelter for chevy's is like using MTM on steroids for Audi's its more expensive than most after market companies.
I love my S4 but don't count Chevy out for the count they had been producing the best sports car for the money, until the GT-R came out, for three years. In an ever changing auto industry that is very difficult. Like Hp, I feel this isn't an argument that is based purely on facts but on preferences. I only will say this, I love my B5 S4 and the avant is the only way to go..... GOTCHA!!!
