16wa4.... Id say im about 4.3-4.4 0-60 if not a bit quicker. I ran even with a c5 vette z06 at the drag strip a couple weeks ago and i belive that year ran 4.5-4.6. And im taking him off the line nad getting to 60 quicker..hes just catching me a bit down the track..so its somweher up there.

vnv... Id say i prob have close to 20k into it. But mine is also of the more expensive route and things like a big brake kit on there and what not. But mine is tuned through mtm which is notoriously a bit more expensive but is known to be slightly more reliable. There is still more powre i can squeeze out. I still need to get some intercoolers, and have a map to run 100 oct. That will help a lot. Then if i wanted to get crazy i could get into some more of the internals.. port/polish heads.. stuff like that.. But you could do a standard stage 3 kit fairly cheap..it all depends if you wnat to do it yourself or hav eit done for labor costs.. and if your buying a straight package or piecing it together. Id say if your not doing it yourself you can do it under 10k easy.

but you cant underestimate the capabilities of this car.. there is a guy that runs the quarter in 11.05 right now.. now hes got some serious weight reduction things and stuff of that nature as it is a daily driver..but not your standard issue daily driver. But theres others that will run in the 11's

 

gto's can run in the 12's stock with a tune, not saying all of them do. A friend on another forum has one, bone stock w/ 300 dollar tune @ 12.8. ( driven2modify.com)

 

This is a little unrelated, But I have been tooling around the www.audi.com/uk and noticed the RS4 coming out in few months.
What do you think this car will run 0-60 and 1/4 times? 420HP at 3850 weight it sounds fast as heck to me. Isn't the S4 and RS4 basically the same
car? Forgive me I have an 06 A8L so I am educating myself on the other Audi's

 

off the top of my head, id say mid to high 4 sec 0-60.

i remember reading a 4.7 or 4.8 0-60. it only has 317 pound ft. torque though. which is surprising with a v8, but its german so who knows. i think thats kinda low compared to the torque amounts higher in most american v8's. its an awesome car though. heres a thread were i first saw specs of it.

Yeah it is - its just about a perfect automobile really (except when it snows!) - it does everything very well - easy to drive fast in - in fact I find I have to watch myself out on the highway - I cruise along faster in it then in the S4 don't even realise it and don't realise how fast I'm getting up to speed - it does it so effortlessly - inline 6 is a beuaty of an engine. Funny though - when I was test driving the car at various BMW dealerships I kept telling them it was too slow and too boring...but each time of course I had just driven up in the S4! I have to admit though in some ways it is more fun and satisfying then the S4...though overall I perfer the S4 - its more trick and unique and it seperates itself from the crowd better and much more easily! Lets see what I can do about a pic or several...

the 2007 runs 4.8 sec 0-62 (0-100kmh) and they are different form S4 cuz of better suspention and brakes i think and a lightened front end for better weight distribution, and the engine is tuned up, better internals that can support higher revs, i think it does over 8k before redline
