I have an 01 audi S4 and when i get to about 140mph the car downshifts to 4th gear then back up to 5th gear reapeatly and will not let me exceed 140mph. My friend has the same GIAC chip and he has gone past 160mph. Any ideas?

I would think so. I don't know what would cause it to just stop besides that. It really is annoying and I hope sombody has had the same issue
