I have a friend who has a black 04 s4 as well.

I took the car to rusnak today... the noise!
The tat tat tat tat tat is like a sound you hear on truck engines, or diesel benz from the 70's...the tech had never heard it before..
but we did a test run, and the damn phantom noise dissappeared completely..this is after consistently irritating me for about a week and a half...
so I dont know what to say..the tech said perhaps it was a loose flywheel...but it resolved itself mid trip...

But Ill check out that thing in torrance if i have some needs in the future

We should organize a run with like five or more cars and go to...like some crappy restraunt in Simi Valley! Or something

Supersprint exhaust on the way! Should have been here already.
It is hard to believe that there is a supercharger kit that will go on to the car without lowering the exisitng compression..I look forward to something though.

Well, I've been having alot of issues with this 2005 S4 Tip.

I WAS on the way to trade it out for a 2005 6mt S4 today, just a few hours ago and it broke down again !!!!!!

Holy shiznit, AoA got an earfull today, along with the service guys at the stealership.....

Instead of my nice new S4, I'm in a hunk of junk A4 loaner....

Damn, gonna get an M3 instead... ( kidding....

What a pain in the *** this is....

5 MAJOR issues in just 6 months....
