Default S4 B6 2004 Exhaust Water

Hi, I bought a S4 2 weeks ago. Im finding a lot of water under the car after a short drive. Ive got an after market exhaust and Im wondering if it has come lose and water is coming from the joint? Is there always a lot of water coming out of the exhaust on these models? The water is dripping from around the center area under the handbrake.

Coolant level is ok and when I run the check it gives me the OK.

Any ideas?

Thanks

is your ac on?? short drives are the worst for water.. moisture collects in the exhaust as humidity provides for us.. fire the car up and drive it ... not long enough for the exhaust to heat up enough and bam.. there you go.. water dripping out of your exhaust and acting as termites too your exhaust in the meantime.. .. go for some longer trips... and dont use your ac or defroster after one trip and let us know what happens.. oh.. and put your finger in some of the water discharge and put it on the tip of your tongue... if its sweet, its antifreeze.. if not its water or oil...

Water is normal to come out the exhaust as well as the collection of the water under the car when you use the AC

Ok just got back from a longish drive with no ac, there's no water dripping from the car. Good news! Im guessing the exhaust is loose thats why I get the water under the car near the front? There is a bit of rattling now and again, I think the engine cover is loose a little too. I just couldn't believe the amount of water coming out of it !!

Ill taste the water when it happens next, but it was extremely clear !

Thanks for the input.

one thing it could maybe possibly be is a your washer fluid resivior could have a crack in it. that happened to be and tho is located in the front fender on the b5 it drained right under the center of the car right near the tranny because of the undercarriage plastic cover..freaked me out but i figured it out when i dropped that panel

then there you go.. no a/c, no water.. which is actually condensation that forms on the evap core.. and loose exhaust up front would mean car is loud as hell... id say your just noticing the drip from evap core and all is well...
