eh, at least you didn't have to peel all your tints off the car within an hour before meeting with a police officer who was contemplating giving you a $200 ticket

kinda ruined my day, these S4's seem to inherit these experiences

well im thinking that i may go with the link you supplied diesel, im gonna call them tomorrow to get a little more info on the trannys. i started thinking it would be pointless for me to go with a used tranny for 200 less than their rebuilt one. then id know for sure i have a good tranny and if the weak points are addressed and there is some cryo-treatment for some of the beating areas, it should be a good investment.. and no wait like stasis .. and 800 bucks cheaper and not a huge core charge..

okay.. ill see whats up tomorrow and repost with what i find...

okay, talked to scott out at advanced automotion, the link you left me diesel. he said that their rebuild and stasis rebuild is very similar, as far as how thorough the rebuild goes as well as the processes performed to make sure its strong and can take a beating. he said most of their trannys go into stage 3 cars and have no problems. he said to this day hes had 1 tranny come back with issues, and he didnt say whether the guy abused the hell out of it or it was an issue they had to resolve. the turn around is super quick, i can have a tranny in like 3 days from ordering it, and then i have a two week period in which to return mine to them before i have a core charged to my debit card, and with stasis i was going to have to send in my tranny, wait 2 weeks before i get it back...he was also very knowledgeable on the type of fluids to use in them as well as explained the processes to make the trannys stronger, such as cryo treating and wpc coating the mainshaft.

so im gonna save up for a couple of weeks and ill have one of their trannys in soon.. =-)

lol... okay guys.. gonna hit the track again tomorrow probably. i already know that im getting a new tranny soon cause the trannys shot.. so im gonna shoot for 12.5..going ***** to the walls... yes.. no ... maybe?? whatcha think?? im changing the plugs earlier in the day so that i dont make a few runs with misfires going on.. ya know??

okay guys.. best run of the night was a 12.97. only thing was it was with a 300lbs buddy taping the video as well .. so i coulda hit 12.6 or .7... blah.. i need a transmission so bad.. even 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 syncro is hanging up now..
