Default synchros killed me..

okay.. so here are my numbers, with a total of 13 runs.. and i guess id be better by .3 or so if i had run my final runs in the first place.. but.. anywho.. track temps was 85 degrees and i was running 50% 93 octane and 50% 110..

best run of the night was my final run after 3 consecutive hot laps.. .

reaction--.447
I1-- 1.836
I2-- 5.618
I3-- 8.525
MPH (I3) 86.397

ET-- 12.916
MPH-- 112.175

with a good tranny, id shave at least 1 second off that et .. take into consideration not only the time i lost not able to get it into gear, but also the lost rpm's which make for better use of boost especially with the RS6 turbos.. and im running super rich, i had to change the plugs once id got to the track due to a misfire that started to occur on the trip there. i did two runs and it was missing so bad that i changed out the fouled plugs and instantly saw .3 seconds gain.. so im happy with being in the 12's, and im confident that i will be into the 12.6 with this setup .. and with methanol and water injection coming soon. maybe 12.3 to 12.1.. and then with a new tranny.. mid 11's..

not bad, it's easy to tell you were struggling with the gears and the traps were pretty decent as well (especially for high 12's low 13's)

i would love to see what you can do when the tranny is good.

hey guys, thinking of getting a used tranny and doing a rebuild on it.. is it best to get a 2000 tranny? some people have said get a newer year and a lot of the problems are resolved, just wondering what you all think, and how late model of a tranny can i get that it will just bolt up??

I was expecting more than 112 mph trap speeds even if granny shifting.

How much boost?
