RS4 Widebody

RE: RS4 Widebody
There are a handfull (less than five I think) of legalized RS4's in the US. One of them is owned by trichards on AW.
With the price of B5 S4's currently you could probably built an amazing car for less than a new RS4. Figure $20k for a decent car, $10k for widebody, 10-12k getting it to stage 3, brakes and misc and another 3-4k on wheels. Thats $45k a car that would probably outperform a new RS4.

Definately some money to do, but the look is awesome. Plus the girl lets me spend a little bit of cash when I want. I'm just debating the mods or another toy. I'm probably selling the bike and the A4 and getting her a TT so that should score some mod points for me

RE: RS4 Widebody
I'd like to get the function of my car worked out before the looks. An RS4 widebody may be in the future for me, but first its getting 500hp at the wheels, while the car still looks stock. I may even put A4 1.8T badges on it.

RE: RS4 Widebody
Going fast is definately more important than looking good. But I'm going to be using the S4 as a semi-daily driver and getting another toy I think. Looking at the 996 GT3 but I'd like to do a couple more mods while I'm able to rip into it. Already a stage 3- or so. I was going to upgrade turbos further (have k04's) but I think it will be less enjoyable to drive around town and it's already fast enough for me.
