RS4 Cams and intake mani
#2
Plenty of people have tried them and tested the results. Most would agree its not worth it on k03's or even k04' and that you will lose mid range power for a little bit of top end. In the end its not worth the money and time. FWIW the 2.8 and rs4 cams are pretty similar
If you are going with larger turbos and switching to 2.8 heads or something then it would make sense to use the 2.8 cams, but with just k04's its kind of pointless.
RS4 intake manifold is nice because theres more material to it so you can port it out more than you could an s4 manifold, but again not worth it unless your doing a full engine build and really going for it with BIG turbos. Plus i think you need more rs4 parts to make this one work...
Spend your money on a good exhaust, intercoolers, and a tune and youll end up in a much better place than using SSAC, FMIC and a cheapo tune.

^^ Agreed. I would even say before you upgrade the IC's, get a decent oil cooler to keep the turbos lasting long.
I've got an FMIC setup and although it actually works nicely, I plan to switch back to SMIC's in order to accommodate an oil and larger power steering cooler.
