Recoded my tiptronic..O2 sensor out
So the other day i recoded to 00032 and can really tell the difference. I pulled up one code on the VAGcom 17521 which isthebank 1 O2 sensor. I just recently got the s4 and don't really now how i should go about replacing the sensor.
Where is the best place to get a new sensor?
Is it affecting my car in any way driving around with it out?
Is it a DIY install or do i need to take it somewhere?

RE: Recoded my tiptronic..O2 sensor out
Hi S!lv3R_S4,
For yur info,
Bank 1 is passenger side
Bank 2 is Driver side
S1 is heater 02 located in front of pre-cat
S2 is located in front of main cat
[ul][*]A good place to get them could be Vast Performance or Ecs tuning or Dealer [*]No, you cannot run w/out them on.[*]You're lucky cuse Bank 1 is easier to work at then Bank 2. But if you dont want to have trouble you should get yourself an O2 tool in order to put them out. You will need some anti-seize compound before replacement. Ecs tuning sells that tool.[*]For locations just follow wires from the fire wall with a tag 608,609 i beleive.[/ul]
