Hi. I have a b6 s4, and the front end is wrecked. I'm going through insurance, and want to replace some parts with rs4 parts. My questions have to do with compatability:

Would an OEM rs4 front bumper fit on the s4? I'm using the dealer's bodyshop, so would they know how to put it on?

Would I have to get a new S4 hood, then put an RS4 grille in it, or would an OEM rs4 hood fit on the s4?

The fenders, fron panel and hood are all different on the B6 vs the B7. You are going to hurt the value of your car by changing the nose on it. I would repair it to stock specs and enjoy it for what it is.

 

Couldn't the dealer's bodyshop order b6 rs4 parts? Isn't the 2003-2004 rs4 built on the b6 platform? Would those fit on a b6 s4?

I kind of figured that it would hurt resale value, but I don't plan on selling this car for a long, long time (and even then it will probably be to my little sister for a glass of ice-cool lemonade )

The B7 car is derivative of the B6 platform. The current S4/RS4 is based on the same chassis structure as your car, but the RS4 has a wider stance, the fenders are wider as are the rear quarters. There really is no way to do this and make it look right.
