wow that thing is stripped! So shawn, since you have taken all that trim out ifI just bust the plastic off the front of the radio the rest of the 8/10mm bolts will be there to take that center console trim out soI can get the radio out? Also is the engine speed sensor wire in the wiring harness, so I know if I will have to route that seprately or not. I am not the best interior, wiring man but I am giving it a try, I would rather pull the engine than remove trim haha (not really)
Well... it's been like six months or so sense I did all that so my memory is not fresh. All of that dash stuff is in another garage in totes, so it is not readily available for me to take a look at. So, if I remember correctly, I was able to key three of them and the top left one was a PITA, and I ended up sliding the head unit out AFTER removing all the side or surrounding plastic. Then I was able to trigger the radio release from the front and side because I was able to see what the key was not doing.

Here are some pictures that might help out..?

Shawn

Actually that doesnt look too bad I have taken alot of dashboards out and that looks clean when its out, I have seen alot worse
In all seriousness... it's probably 100 to 150screws/boltsremoved to get to that point.

Yea, I bought an Icelink for my Audi and The top 2 holes are locked on mine. I saw all the dealership would need to do to get my radio out, so I pretty much have an unused Icelink and bracket sitting here in my house. No way I will be able to take it out by myself lol
