So lately with the weather getting nice we all know the hot whips are comin out. well i live close to this rich a$$ neighborhood so there are some nice rides some guy has a Lexus Is F fu#$*n sweet. but yesterday i finally got a bite ive been eager to race a c6 vett i took a c5 but these c6's are a bit quicker. i had the jump on him til about 80 but he just kept pullin on me after that. still i was not expecting to win but close.

I had a 2006 C6 for over a year and the inability of the old lady to drive the car from time to time didn't justify keeping it... but regardless, the dude simply didn't know how to drive, or was a wussy... that car is SICK fast and would TOTALLY crush an S4 unless you got k04 and an aggressive tune.

 

I don't know about sick fast but they are a respectable mid 12's car.. now a days, it seems you aren't a "sports car" unless your in the 11's.

 

I know right!! I would like to havea c6 z06or a AM vanquish and a bunch of others... but what's the point if my car is faster than a vanquish and almost as fast as a z06??
Maybe because the AM is freaking Gorgeous!

Shawncumberland - He does have "k04" in his sig., so I guess he could keep up...

 

K04's without fueling/tune will not be faster than a car with k03's. maybe a tad faster, but no where near a k04/ stage 3 car would be.

 

i beat a c6 vette but it was convertable im stage 3 minus btw with giac but i pulled on him and i have witnesses lol and he was going i could hear his exhaust... those things are loud lol

 

haha, thats american muscle for you. I am really impressed with the new LS3 block chevy is making. thats also the same block as the new ZR1 corvette that is due to come out soon. Its been a good 5 years for chevy with that corvette!

 

So true, the finally came out with a decent suspension and handling set up for it as well. Before we all know they couldn't handle to ave their lives, now they are rated up there with porsche!
