I thought you were having Audi look at it ? I know you aren't happy with it right now, but I imagine if you let it go now you will take a pretty big financial hit, no ? Well good luck, I hope it works out for you.

Smile

We have basically the same car you ordered except we got the titanium package and interior is the red/black combination. Have put almost 3k miles on it and we both LOVE it! S-tronic has been flawless. We did add the Stasis touring package minus the wheels. More power and more smiles!

Default S-tronic is amazing

If there are problems with the S-tronic, I certainly didn't see them, I did a Euro delivery and had the car going speeds up to 255+ kph (160 mph) , hitting winding alpine roads at over 100 and the transmission always seemed to be in the right gear for whatever crazy scenario I was getting into. I actually found myself not using the paddle shifters most of the time, just because I found it to be so good.

For anyone who hasn't ordered the car yet and thinking about it, I highly recommend doing a euro delivery, its auto 5% off the price of the car and you get a 2 hour factory tour, night in a hotel in Munich...and of course you get to drive on the autobahn!

I actually grew up in Munich, but you are right, for anyone who has never been or wants to visit Germany, doing the Euro delivery is an excellent idea !

Not for nothing man, but why would any of us want to buy your car ? You have stated that you don't like the S Tronic and you believe there is an issue with it. You also said Audi was going to send someone to look at it, that sounds like a real headache. I wish you luck unloading it, since that seems to be your goal, but you might have to eat more then just 5k.

What's the Euro delivery about? Do you go over to the factory and take possession and then need to ship it back stateside?

Yep, for the Euro Delivery, Audi sets you up in a hotel for a night in the munich area, drive you to the factory, give you a tour and you take possession of your car. You can drive around for up to 3 months in europe with it (15 days of car insurance is included) and drop it back off at 1 of 10 places in europe where it gets shipped to your dealer in the US (included in price). So basically you get a free vacation out of it since the discount pretty much would cover the cost of a flight, and more while you are there. Plus you get to check one off the bucket list by driving on the autobahn.
