Default Preventative Maintenance

I just got a 2001 S4 and am looking to do some Preventative Maintenance on it. I would like to upgrade the the car to add some power on it but first i am thinking of doing some Preventative Maintenanceso i may build a solid car before i start to but some power on it.

Please reply back giving your feedback or what parts you think i should upgrade by what fails in a S4 the most often and what i should do to prevent it. already got timing belt replaced

Buy the APR bi pipe.. that will get rid of the rubber boot on your throttle body. I think everyone has replaced it. Then get new Diverter valves. I just got the regular evoms ones.
Upgraded intake. Then exhuast, THEN you are ready for a chip.

Sweet thanks man i actually already got a chip and an intake but i still need an exhuast and diverter valves. I was thinking of Bailey Motorsport Alloy Diverter Valves, and also i was thinking of getting the Samco S4 Silicone Hose Set to make sure none of my hoses blow out. and as for an exhuast, i am kinda lost. Please tell me what you think about what possible upgrades i am thinking about doing, or if it is even worth the money to repalse all my stock rubber hoses.

yeah i found out about the apr bi pipe to late. so i just got the samco TBB... its great hasnt ripped yet. Baileys makes very good diverter valves. so thats a go.
and for exhuast UUC made the best one, but they are discontinued and very hard to find. I have the AWE twin 1. I love it sounds amazing. I also got piggie pipes becuase i didn;t wanna spend a grand on downpipes. I don't think they WHOLE samco kit is worth it right now. Its around 400$ and can be a pain in the *** to change everything. I would get it when you change your turbos and have the whole engine out. Thats what im planning on doing.
