Default A-Pillar or Vent Boost Guage?

Which one do you guys recommend. The A-Pillar is a bunch less than the vent guage. But, the vent guage won't become a deadly projectile. Also, ease of installation: which is easier? And, will the vent guage move around a bunch, or is it really solid in place? Thanks guys!

The vent gauge. I have the AWE vent gauge and its awesome.. I have had a ton of comments on how people thought it was actually stock cause it matched up so well. It doesnt move aroudn at all... Its sturdy in place..but you can still move the vent up and down...and your vents dont move normally when driving do they? Also, the a-pillar doesnt look too good with a piece just clipped in unless you spend the money and have it re-fabriced over it... ive seen that once and it looked nice.

Nope, they don't move around at all. I was concerned with whether the weight would move the vent up or down by itself. But, guess not.

I'm definitely leaning towards getting the AWE vent guage. Hard to install myself?

its a pretty easy install for the most part. About 1-2 hours.. Hardest part is to put the stupid vacuum hose onto the t connector. First time i tried it (bought it from a friend) didnt realize that i didnt have the t connector half way through. And then i got one shipped in and i broke that..so i needed to get another one shipped in. I was using a gerry rigged t connector from a fish tank. It worked but the gauge rattled. You need the ones with the brass reducer. But yeah, pertty easy, just dont break the stupid connector.

I have the AWE vent gauge and I have no complaints. It looks clean and fits in with the rest of the interior.

I have a VDO in the A pillar. Color matches the factory gauges and looks really nice. I am worried about the air bag situation though. I think the guy that set mine up set it up with that in mind... It's lose on the A pillar, but like fixed to the dash. Kind of weird but it looks like it would flip out of the way if the bags went off.

go with awe's vent gauge. it's what i'm going with and i hear install is pretty easy. and studies have shone that the a pillar gauge is quite dangerous. and i've seen pictures of both, the vent gauge looks a lot better because it's a bit more subtle. hope your happy with whatever decision you've made.
