Hi,

My name is John, I am new to Audi and this board. I currently own a highly modifed E46 M3 with well over 20k in mods and looking to buy a 2001 6 speed S4. Now you guys might ask why the hell is he thinking about doing this? My answer is I want to play around with turbos (easy power) as the B6 isn't fast and there is not much you can do. Anyways I want to know what mods I need to get to make the S4 run low 12's or high 11's. (Don't tell me to get a Corvette Z06) I want my S4 to sound super mean and loud, possibly shooting out flames? How is the everyday drivability? Thanks

 

Drop some K04 turbos in there, stage 3 clutch, exhaust, downpipe, headers, short shifter, rs4 intercoolers and chip. Ur done right there,and prolly going a little faster than those #s

 

Where would I be able to obtain these modifications? Please give me a website address. Also what company of exhaust and clutch should I go with?

Southbend makes a good clutch

 

Check this place out too Stratmosphere. They have a stage 6 kit that should put you in the 500-600 range for both hp and torque. Should be good for some quick 1/4 run but any time you mod a car like that driveability is reduced greatly.

 

Where are you located, I got my work done from 4induktion and AWE, I have K04 kit with headers and RS4 Cams, PPE Clutch with RS4 lightweight fly wheel, DUH Front mount with wiggins clamps, AWE down pipes without Cats, Evo Intake, fuel managment system, with race fuel your at 500 hp. Bobster1926 where'd u get your DUH fmic? i've been thinking of replacing my rs4 ic's with a front mount. how's the performance on those things?

 

I got it from Eric in CA, http://www.duhengineering.com, some other places carry it too. But Eric is the manufacturer of this product. So far it's been great, I don't have any dyno proven results but it looks awesome.
