Default New wheels hit on brake calipers help

I bought a set of really nice Rs4 Replica Wheels for my 2001 s4 and mounted new 225 40 18s on them and found out they wont even fit on my s4 because of the oversize s4 brakes. Would I be better off reselling the wheels to someone with an a4 or what should I do? The wheels have the same offset as the original wheels but not even close to fitting with my brakes up front.

Does anyone know the size difference in b5 a4 and s4 stock front brake calipers? I need to know so I can get the right size spacer. Im afraid its probably going to make them stick out too far.

are you sure they are not b6 usp avant reps? very similair, but less concave. they dont clear the calipers on the b5 s4.

They have an et of 45 18x8 and they are RS4 Replicas, on ebay search Rs4 Hyper Silver wheels. They are the more deep dish ones.

I didn't buy them off of ebay, I bought them off of craigslist from a guy that works at ecstuning and he said they would fit my car. I didn't know they were ebay replicas when I bought them and still wouldn't really care if they would have fit on my car. Where can I get nice wheels that will work on my car without breaking the bank? I'm 18 and not on a real big budget. I already know the problem, i'm trying to find a solution.

What kind of wheels do you have smurfin? Are they the same offset as mine et45?
