A friend of mine jsut got his b5 chipped by neuspeed. He said it is a 50hp increase abd that he is now running 17 or 19 pounds of boost. Does that make any sense to anyone. What boost does teh GIAAC chip give. Is it more reliable to go with the neuspeed one since it is nearly half a s powerful? OH and P.S >ANyone know how mush a stock s4 wheel weighs w/o tire

 

Neuspeed is fine and it's not half the power. The boost numbers are on par with GIAC - I've heard some GIAC chips boosting as high as 22psi.

The stock B5 S4 wheels (Avus) at 17x7.5 weigh 28lbs each.

 

is 28 lbs alot for wheels? If u get light weight wheels will the car become much faster?

 

yeah 28 punds is a crap load. HRE's 18*8.5 weigh 22 pounds , oz superleggeras same size wigh 18-20 pounds
