RE: My new S4 Avant to replace my GTI
First of all i like the second one better anyway, 22k miles and a great color.
As far as insurance, It depends on Age, gender, driving record, where you live, how many people drive the car, how the far the car is driven yearly etc. You can get free quotes online and over the phone in just a couple minutes that would probably be more accurate than what anyone here gives you. Yes it will be more than the MK4, but Iv found that different companies vary hugely on price. I got insured for 6 months and it cost me under $1500, but other companies quote me as much as $4500 per year. Im 18 years old with 1 speeding ticket and 1 stopsign roll through.
How much do you pay yearly for your MK4?

RE: My new S4 Avant to replace my GTI
well in my area seems like a little bit different in buying insruance. but after all you are right, so I am asking him the point is if she gonna pay more on insruance for S4 compare with MK4 or less. so i may have a image in my mind before get the car.
in my city, we only have one and only oneneutural monoply insurance company, the price is more firm as default. I am currently paying 2400/yr for my MK4 with 20% discount. gonna have 25%off soon. lol. I am 25.

RE: My new S4 Avant to replace my GTI
It is hard to say exactly how much more I am paying, because I still have my GTI on my policy, until I sell it, so I have a multi car discount.
I was paying $872 a year for the GTI.
It looks like I'll be around $1200-$1300 a year for the S4, after I get rid of my GTI.
I am 44 years old, with a perfect record, and received every discount available from my insurance company.
