Just stick to APR/AWE/Revo/MTM/Vast and you'll be safe and not misled

I'm sure to get that power level, they are including the DV's, intake, Dp's & exhaust. But really if you want the best from your chip, you got to get the DP's & exhaust done.

People who the MTM chip say it's super smooth, & not very aggressive.

I saw one with just a dahlback chip dyno 280 wheel... which is pretty ****** high.. search dahlback s4 dyno on google and it willl come up.. i bet mtm could squeeze 345 out of it.

Here's that vid that Dubya was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sz_ZlSZj6i0

278whp is damn high!

The torque is insane! 387 ft-lbs at the wheels!!! That's more than 450 ft-lbs at the crank! Aren't AWE cars getting like 380 ft-lbs at the crank?

It says that all it has is a chip! Jeez.......

I'll bet you it was a race gas program & race gas. Notice how no one is really all the excited about it. If my car only had a chip, & did almost 290whp, I would be jumping up & down.
It can also be an optimistic reading dyno, or they could be showing you corrected crank HP #'s in the chart. I know with my old Dynojet dyno's & graphs, I could give my self up to 35 hp from messing with the graph settings.

FWIW, most "just chipped" S4's do about 220-230 whp & 260-280 torque.

*Phew*

I'm glad you chimed in 2k S4. I was a little skeptical how the Dahlback chip would have SO much more power than the heavily favored GIAC. I never thought about the fact that it could have been a race gas program.

Hurray for ambiguous dyno results and vids! [:'(]

Thanks for the imput guys

I think the 345Hp is achievable with some software tweaks, but does the 5 bar FPR make that much of a diff though?

Only if you have K04 turbo's & the software for it. If used on a stock car, the engine will just run really rich.

Alright... i guess ill jump in... sorry for the delay.. Yes, i have MTM.. yes it runs freaking smooth. Unless i hit the gas it runs like stock.. after hitting the gas it just pulls and pulls.. And you can ask teh vette owners at the strip i went to last year

As for the website..yeha, they have worked on that for awhile..and its not very clear... Those are their stage 1, 2, 3, 4 chips...etc... There is other hardware needed before tehy will issue that software..i.e. for the stage 4, you need the k04's etc...
