achtuning.com and ecodetuning.com both sell their stage 3 apr kits for a grand less. Thats why ecstuning blows. Trust me. I know more about this stuff than u think.

The APR kit comes with **** that you don't really need anyway, no matter who was selling it.
CF covers, Aluminum Y-pipe, Upper hoses to mate w/ Y-pipe, overpriced RS4 fuel pump.

I wouldn't waste my money.

thats the truth right there. AWE's kit is more powerfull for $5500, and you can build your own for less than that anyway.

ECS isnt the best for performance parts they really dont have anything, im not even a fan of the porsche BBK's. Having said that they have great t-belt kits, i bought my Audi sport mats there, all my oil filters, Power steering fluid, lots of other stuff too. Shipping and customer support have been great the half-dozen times iv ordered through them. I even like ECS enough to wear one of their T-shirts every once in a while

CTS for turbos
034 for inlets
ECS for hardware

I would never buy an apr kit. GIAC and AWE all the way! But, if I did want the apr stage 3 kit, I know that ecs sells their kit for 9 grand while achtuning and eurocode sell their kits for 8 grand. Doesnt make sense to me and its kinda shady I think. You think they would know their competition sells the kits for cheaper and try and compensate a bit but it must work since their kits apparently are on backorder!! way to go!!!

But i'm sure you want one after it's running again.
Eveyone has their own preference on chips but if you aren't planning on full stage 3 fueling soon then i'd just get a giac program with a 5 bar fpr.

i wasnt planning on doing a full stage iii for the simple fact that i didnt want to go in and rebuild any internals. Come to find out that our blocks can hold the k04's and well over 400hp+, i've forgon the idea of stage ii and am in the market for a fueling kit as well.

whatever you do, do not just cap it off and run no boost.
You'll have all sorts of problems. Everything on the car is designed to compensate
for boost. It'll run like crap and you'll be throwing codes all over the place.

thats what i told him, so i will be finding ways of getting enough $$ to fund it, i cant take that cheap way out. I want it to be better than when it came in, not worse in the long haul

be sure to have them clean out the oil feed lines or replace them.

is there a kit, or do i have to buy them one by one?

sorry about your luck man, was there a lot of internal engine damage?

18 blown valves, 4 cracked pistons, a 4"x4" hole in the rear of the block, as well as two blown turbos, etc. Etc.... Shittty shitty deal

what is the website for CTS? anyone know it? Also I found VAST had the best prices since I could buy everything from them and it was such a tall order
Turbos went for 2380 shipped
All other parts, including a new clutch, water pump, f hose.. everything but the turbos that I wanted to put on the car was another 1400 shipped. That includes a tune for the
fueling kit once I find one and buy it.. they want 1900 for theirs, and I dont have that right now.. I think I may have found one for 1,000 with my stock ECU to them. What all should come in a fueling kit, so I know im not getting ripped off?
