More Issues with the Brand New (to me) S4.. Need Advice!
So while they pulled the engine because it blew the timing belt, they noticed that both of the turbos had blown seals and bent turbines, and need replaced. Im working on 4000 left from selling the truck. I am already purchasing a new water pump, short shifter, RS4 clutch, and DV valves. Where is the absolutely cheapest place to get an RS4 K04 turbo kit? The shop said they would put them in for no extra charge. I saw a few for 2899.00, is there anything cheaper out there? Also, as far as a chip goes, whats the cheapest chip to run with them? I know it sounds like I'm taking the cheap and shitty way to run this, but its a matter of getting **** right before it goes back in, and the shops getting pissed because of the downtime already. He even said about capping the lines and running no boost. NO! Please help guru's, this is my first Audi, I had it 36 hours before the timing belt went, i didnt even have a chance to see what it could do. I'm Heart(BROKE)n and just want it back!

Not sure if this is the cheapest but it's better than 2899.

^+1 That's a good geal for the K04s.
You could get the rs4 pipes from ECS, since your in PA they should ship fast.
Although you may want to shop around for prices. I don't know if somewhere else sells them cheaper.
You don't need to have it chipped to get it back on the road.
But I'm sure you want one after it's running again.
Eveyone has their own preference on chips but if you aren't planning on full stage 3 fueling soon then I'd just get a GIAC program with a 5 Bar fpr.
Whatever you do, DO NOT just cap it off and run no boost.
You'll have all sorts of problems. Everything on the car is designed to compensate
for boost. It'll run like crap and you'll be throwing codes all over the place.
Be sure to have them clean out the oil feed lines or replace them.
Sorry about your luck man, was there a lot of internal engine damage?

^+1 on the oil lines. In fact, now would be a good time to spend a few extra bones and have the oil lines replaced. Some of those connections are not accessible with the engine in the car. You'd hate to have to pull the engine out again just to replace an oil line.
Also, you can try www.avalonmotorsports.com and look at the K04 kit. I believe it comes with the K04s and all of the hardware needed to get the K04s bolted to the engine and it comes in at $2795. Not sure what ECS charges for the K04 plumbing/hardware, but avalon might be a better option when you consider timing on two different shipments and cost.

http://www.jhmotorsports.com You can get RSK04s, inlet pipes, hardware, couplers and clamps for 2591.00. The inlet pipes are oem replicas though. the actual oem inlets are 200 bucks more so almost 2800 for everything. not sure what the big difference between the oem and replica inlet pipes is but it will save you a couple hundred bucks.
