If you know how to launch, or go from a slow start, you should be able to pull a STI. Of course if the STI has any mods, doubt it.
My EVO 8 has the same mods as my S4, and the EVO is a lot faster, unless you get it of boost. While the S4 builds boost much quicker threw out the rev range.
If the STI is a tad faster, who cars, just put in some down pipes, & get some new intercoolers, you'll be faster![:@]

Don't be jealous, I'd bet I'm a bit older then you are. I paid cash for both cars, so I can afford to put some
