GT30's or maybe even 28's since it will be mostly street are a more logical choice. I think some variation of 30's would be a happy medium for spool and power. Reason for bigger turbo is power goals and we all know 25psi on k04s is different than gt28r's vs gt30 etc etc
You need to remember that that is all 3.2l(vr6 remember) pushing that big turbo. You are suggesting 1.35l pushing the same amount, I really dont think they will spool.
The other problem is that GT35 and GT30's dont really fit in stock location; you have to do costume top mount manifolds.
If you really want to go with GT's talk to vast; they will tell you everything you need to know. I think that you would be more than happy with 605's, I only have K04's and they are all i can really use.

these are off a gt2860r-7 build.
Duly noted. Those are pretty gorgeous manifolds. If I had a girlfriend she'd be teh lose right now. Thats smoother and has more holes. Thanks man, I will look into them.

I suppose you are right. If I was going for a single turbo it would be ideal.. but two wouldn't spool well. Thanks for talking some sense into me. I am going to stay with Garrett, the T's im not convinced of yet, although they do look promising. Shorter spool time is a must and I will have to remind myself of that.

Anybody at vast in particular? I'm gunna be signing up on motorgeek as I'll be dealing with 034 quite a bit. Anybody have any input for their EFI steups?

Any comparison of spool times on similar builds?

I have k04s and they spool pretty much instantly full boost(24psi) by 2800
605s are full boost by 3300-3500 usually
770s are a little later than 3800(I think)
Smaller GTs are full boost by around 3800-4000

This is on 2.7 not 3.0

Cool, thats good info skerbman. Too bad there is no comparison or calculation to see how things spool on a stroker. I know there is the ASP 3.0 with GT28's on it I believe but no speedo shots.

Alright so, I will be tearing down the block as soon as my buddy finishes a Chev 350 rebuild (I know I know, hes out of work and needs to make money) so I can see what I need. Prob get crackin on it in the next two weeks or so. Unfortunately I live about 100 miles or so from where all the work is being done so things will be done in spurts. Slow and steady wins the race, until she's in the engine bay

Oh btw.. was wondering if anybody would be able to help me with some software/wiring questions.. 034EFI able to retain ABS, cluster function, obd, etc by leaving stock ecu in? I would imagine a few resistors in the right places would provide dummy readings to the motronic so i dont gotta cover mil with tape.
