Looking at the Revo chip

Looking at the Revo chip
I am searching around for different chips right now for my new S4. I am not really seeing much for revo but from what I have seen people seem to be happy with it. One of the reasons also I looking at them is because there is an auth. dealer just 30 miles from where I live. All the others are in Seattle which is about 5 hours away. Any input on if this would be a good decision or not? I am upgrading my DV's to the 710n's on sat.

RE: Looking at the Revo chip
u can find other flashed/chipped ecu's on the classified foraround $300. not sure how much the revo chip is, but if you can save by buying a used GIAC ecu, that would be great wouldnt it? heard revo is a fine chip, what are the hp/tq increase #'s??

RE: Looking at the Revo chip
I am calling the dealer today to get numbers. And one of their guys who works there is a huge member on one of my local forums and he said he can get me a discount. I will find that all out today.

I've had a Revo programmer on my '01 S4 for 18 months/15000 miles without a problem and really liked it. I've just done$2500 worth of work on it, includingnew Oxy sensors, exhaust temp sensor, new plugs, and a bunch of other crap that my mechanic is blaming on the Revo program. I don't know if it's true or not, but I suspect he's blowing smoke because he can't find the problem.

S4's arent cheap to maintain, especially if you mod them. Im pushing $6000 in the past 12 months
