ok so my 01 s4 i just changed the battery out and now m radio is in safe mode and im in limp mode boostin 5lbs all the time and cant change the apr programs or anything. i know i have to get the radio recoded by audi cause i dont have the code but why do you think im in limp mode? no check engine light or anything. what do you guys thinks going on with my car?

No cel doesnt mean its 100% i would still get it Vag'ed and the vagcom can recode radio

I know some of the other security features for the carare connected in the stock radio so if the car thought that was stolen, it may thought that those wires were also used to jack the car? I know its kinda far off. And if you know the serial number on the back off the radio call it in to the dealer, they gave me my radio code for free when I told them that serial.

You might have fried something swapping the battery, like the ECU.

Hook up a VAG & see what it says. Also check all the fuses & grounds.

well i unplugged the ecu and plugged it back in with the instructions off aprs website and vuala back to normal but im asuming this is a temporary fix so im guna try and find someon with a vag and see wat it says.
