leasing a 2007 s4.....
hello all,
I am looking at leasing a 2007 Audi s4, and was wondering what everyone thought about this car, and how much it would cost to lease. I know it depends on age for insurance, taxes, credit, downpayment, etc. I am 16 years old, and this will be my first car. Our family is pretty well to do, so insurance and all that will not be a big problem. However, I was also wondering if the Audi s4 is a safe car(i know i have to be careful, cause its a dang fast car, driven in one before)
How much would a ballpark figure be for a 36-39 month lease of an Audi S4? I was planning to lease a fully loaded Cadillac Escalade ESV for around 60,000 with a 950-1000 monthly payment, would the s4 be more, or less?
please let me know, as i would like to know soon
thank you all, and have a great day
Sincerely,
Mike

+1. How about a nice A4 as a "starter car"? You can get an S Line with Quattro. Trust me, at 16 you don't want all that power. You will either wreck or get your license yanked. There is a good reason why insurrance goes down at age 25. Maturity.

I don't know, I would say go with a b5 S4. Get a really nice one. If you are into performance then a A4 is, I think, a waste of time. I'm only 17 and drive a b5 s4. I would say I am very resposible with it and take great care of it. It can go 50/50, it all depends on if the teen thinks he is invinsible or knows his limits. The only time I have gotten a ticket was in a 1996 honda accord.... After that I have had a A4 and now an S4 with no tickets and no wrecks. So it all depends on the person. I would say if you have the chance to get a 2007 S4, jump on it.

An S4 as a first car for a 16 yr old.... scary. I would agree that starting with something less powerful and expensive would be smart. If you want an audi try an A3, as it will still give you power but not as much as the S4, and will still be pretty fun. A B5 S4 wouldn't be a bad idea. As you learn more about cars you can start upgrading performance parts and eventually have more power than the B7 S4.

I would say even an A4 1.8T Avant and build up a little since you have all this money. I am 18 and have an A6 2.7T 6-Sp and a Nogaro Blue B5 S4, but I work at an Audi/Porsche garage. I would never ever think about having these cars without working where I work.
I would say to start go for something a little more mellow to get into the Audi world. Don't have to start big man. I started with a '99 A6 Avant tip. start smaller. just my $0.02

I leased a 2005, put 3000K down and pay 695 a month before taxes.
Then again i got them to give it to me or 1500 under invoice because I bought a 2005 B6 in November 2005, they wanted that thing out of there pronto.
Timming is everything when getting good deals..... you cant beat end of year, they are desperate to sell you at any rate. End of month can be good if you catch a mananger under pressure to put up numbers for the month.
