RE: knock off hoses?
im with blue in this one I have 77,000 on my car and it has not blown a TBB. For it to go outafter a month isnt a good thing at all, but why dont you just go with the ARP bipipe and never have any problems again???

RE: knock off hoses?
because i needed a part right away since this is my only vehicle. just so happened that PepBoys had one laying around that i picked up. the bi-pipe will definately come when i finally tune and get proper fueling for it.

The previous owner put a samco TBB on and i havent had any problems in 10,000 miles, id be pissed if ti tore, im only stage 2
My APR bi-pipe goes on in 2 weeks allong with T-belt etc. and the rest of my goodies that have been accumulating this semester in my dorm room....short shifter, dts, rs4 clutch, light weight flywheel, snub mount, turbo timer, and new rubber for my 18"s

all sounds like what I want to do, excpt the flywheel dont like lightweight ones on awd cars. One thing how much power can those RS4 clutches hold? I have been looking around for a good clutch and people say they are good but the ydont give me a round about power they can hold

RE: knock off hoses?
uhh the rs4 comes stock with 390 HP people say like 430 HP is reasonably safe. When i go k04's i will probably think about getting a new clutch. I just went out on a limb with the flywheel never driven an awd car with one. Hope i like it! the mechanic who is doing the work has a great reputation with b5's and he said definitly.
