RE: k16/k04 S4!!!!!
this thread kinda died without really going anywhere. The turbos are similar to our k04s but straight off the porsche they wont fit on with our k04 inlet pipes. like 2ks4 said you would have to get custom oil and coolant lines because theyre different too. inlets are also different so our rs4 k04 stuff dosnt really match up perfectly. Im really not sure about the manifolds, i think some work might have to be done there too.

RE: k16/k04 S4!!!!!
the cheapest/easiest way IMO would be to buy a pair of blown k04's off an s4 that arent in bad shape (there are plenty out there) and then send them to be rebuilt with k16/k24/rs6 compressor wheels, opposed to paying more for new k04's then paying to make the hybrids.

Hybrids will make a little more power than pjk04s especially in the top end, just make sure to have good fueling. now some companies are selling straight RS6 turbos which are modified to fit correctly with rs4 stuff too, while you might not need new connecting rods for hybrids its probably a good idea with these

I have a set of blown k04's for sale...7k total on them. Passenger side needs new CHRA, perfect for hyrbrid upgrade. Drivers side is in perfect condition!
BTW if you want to run those hybrids to there potential, you should run larger injectors than 440's. 440's/greentops get maxed out easily on OTS stage 3 kits. I run 630's and have plenty of headroom to add fuel, as my duty cycles were only 60-70%
