for my OEM 2001 S4 B5 cat-back exhaust? I'm looking to upgrade.

As between the Borla, the AWE Twin 1, or the AWE Twin 2, which do ppl prefer?

I'm in the same boat right now...don't know which one to get. I've heard the twin 1 and 2 exhausts in person. The 2 is quiet...don't hear much of it above 2500rpm's. The twin1 is deffinatly louder sounds like a performance exhaust all the way up in the rpm's. Never heard the borla though, I'm also hearing a lot of positive feedback about asp's cat back system

 

BORLA! im gettin the borla exhaust this week. i already have a few friends with borla exhaust and they are loving it.

 

The Borla systems are great, not too loud but sporty sounding IMO. PM if you're interested in going with Borla[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

Find some S4's around you with exhaust, and see what one you like. It's all so subjective, I'm very happy with my ASP stuff.

BTW, the stock exhaust is worth poop.

 

I have also heard the ASP TRU-DUAL system on the B5 and IMO that is the best sounding exuast out there right now. The Borla is nice and subtle but if you want to be heard correct go with ASP, very mean and throaty w/o the drone!

P.S. If you go with ASP, 89mm tips FTW!!

 

Does anyone know is the ASP catback is louder or quieter than the AWE twin 1?

 

MUCH, MUCH quieter. The ASP one is just a little louder & more throaty then the T2.

 

twin1 FTW. I have it anf I love it.

 

twin 1 is nice...but a little hard to keep quiet sometimes. I was looking for something louder than the twin 2 but not quite as loud as the twin 1...so i'm thinking the asp is it.
