If someone(hypothetically) had a warranty that specifically covers the turbos, and they (hypothetically) had a mechanic that would be willing to replace the blown turbos w/whatever said owner would want, what would the quickest easiest way to blow them? Heres the kicker, this needs to be done without endangering any other part of the car. Hopefully this guideline will limit the smart@ss answers : )

 

turn up the boost (GIAC), and let your system have a leak, then drive really hard, then just shut it off, dont let it cool down, and clog up the oil lines for them. basically do everything you aren't suppose to.

On that note. Lol. I think it's funny that this question is being asked. Is your mechanic going to be checking the ECU at all? You'll most likely throw and overboost code while trying to wreck your turbos. That being said, I have to agree with Blue. Turn your boost controller all the way up and try to keep your RPM above 3k to ensure the turbos are working hard. Keep in mind you're playing a risky game since to work the turbos you also have to keep the engine pretty busy.

Make sure you read all the fine print!!!!! You don't want to blow them up and then end up having a bunch of problems getting them to actually pay for it.

haha! Are you serious? Insurance companies can actually give a polygraph to someone making a claim?

 

No they cant make you take a polygraph, you can volunteer but that would be stupid.

 

This might actually turn out prety awesome, how did you get such coverage of said tubos(hypathetically of course) and insurance fraud, HA it's more like bending rules and I say if you can bend push them until they break. good luck on sticking it to the man.
