Found it! I made the tester as mentioned above and it worked like a charm! Thanks drev500!
The only thing that's left is the coolant sensor which my mechanic can't figure out. He replaced the plug AND the sensor with no result. The coolant gauge just sits on the first line (video above).
Any idea why it's not working?
