i was thinkin about exhaust, too. but i dont want my car to sound like a "16-yr old's with hole in the muffler" Plus, i'm a girl & don't want a "testosterone-like" car.
i love the rumble it makes now, but you only really hear it when you do fast acceleration. how do you know what a new exhaust would sound like?

 

From most of what I have read, a resonated system will not be too loud...try audiworld and a search of the b6s4 forum...sound clips. I think there are some there so you can get a sense of the difference...

did that, wasnt really impressed, but did notice differences. think u need to hear it in person. if i like the sound of an exhaust on one type of car, will it sound the same on my car or do i need to look at exhausts on s4's? is this a warranty void?

 

Yeah...listening to sound clips is a bit limiting...in person is really the only way to get the true sound.

It is going to be totaly different on a different car...you would have to hear it on a v8s4.....

All that I read on warranty says that most dealers will NOT void warranty for aftermarket DB and Catback...so you should be safe on this one.
