H & R Premium Coilovers - question
Hello all,
I'm still fairly new to this forum but have already learned an awful lot about the B5 platformed S4. I just preordered a lovely set of 18 x 8.5 BBS CH black edtion wheels that will be fitted with 225/40ZR18 BFG G-Force T/A KDW rubber. I have since ordered a set of H & R Premium Coilovers from AWE Tuning so that I can lower my 2001 S4 for when I finally get my new wheels. Just had a few questions concerning the coilovers themselves... Do I absolutely need an alignment after installation? If so, should I wait and have my wheels/tires installed at the same time as the coilovers? Also, if I decided to go ahead and install the coilovers before I put the wheels/tires on, would one alignment be sufficient or will I have to align my car once again after I put the wheels/tires on?
Any input would be great, especially if you personally have any experience with these particular coilovers and/or the same tire and wheel sizes. And while we are on the subject, how low should I lower it with thissize of wheels/tires on the car?
I live close to the St. Louis area so if someone has a good shop that they recommend for performing the work that would be awesome!

RE: H & R Premium Coilovers - question
no alignment is needed with just wheels and tires, it is suggested though when putting coilovers on. if you don't get one, your tires might wear a little funny and faster than usual. however its not going to hurt to wait a few weeks to get the alignment after you do the coilovers.

Thanks. Appreciate the info.
BTW, anyone here ever run into any problems trying to get these B5 S4s aligned after installing a set of these coilovers? Will they align without any problems? Anything I should know before I lower the car?
