I was just wondering if anyone knew where autospeed's 490whp and 510wtq kit would put you in terms of 0-60 and the quarter mile. Not that i have the money to buy it now, but in about a year who knows, maybe the price will even drop a little.

 

it would put you in the range of very fast

0-60 probably low 4's and high 11's in the quarter, a lot of factors go into numbers like that though, i.e. tires, driver experience, etc.

 

I'm thinking faster then you can get it there. A well done & tuned K04 car is low 4's 0-60 & low 11's in the 1/4 that is with 400ish WHP & 450wtorque. So faster then that.

 

13 grand and you still have plenty of other items that are not part of the kit that are expensive like intercoolers, etcetc... but I like the kit. The only concern is in regards to the BOOST at redline is decreasing, and is that because the turbo's can't push anymore? If so, they are just a tick tooo small.

 

Guessing by the video of VAST's S4 against an APR stage III I would say mid 3's and mid 10's 1/4 because VAST's S4 walked all over the stage III even with APR running 110 oct and VAST was detuned.

 

I have seen both cars is action.


the asp car in cally at the track. still struggling to make it into the 11's most of the day it was in the mid 12's. the kit looks ok but it is obvious that there are some isues.

I actull was able to go for a ride in the vast car (i live in mi and I was picking up some parts) it doesn't seem real that a car should be that fast. the video deffinitly doesn't due the cars justice. it was sweet they had 2 gt cars there I wanted to go for a ride in the car they were tuning for race gas but I couldn't convince them. deffinitly something to save your money for.

I couldn't convince kurt to launch the car but even with a soft role into first gear you can tell the 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile are going to come much sooner

 

Looks like VAST might have something, but without dyno numbers and track proof... it would be hard to spend money with them, unless I was a prototype and discounted parts/labor. I'll keep an eye on them as for I have other irons in the fire at the moment.

 

the vast kit did post #'s

they made 512 whp on pump gas. with smaller turbos and less bost (23 lbs) then ANYONE else. this as I understand is on stock internils. I don't know how long the stock motor will azcept that. but still imo the best gt option available.... I can't find the link to the thred it is on the other forum. I will se if I can dig it up.

 

you might want to read it again it comes with a front mount ...
pretty much comes with everything you need except suspension and tie rods and control arms and all that **** but it comes with ALOT..you should expect that for 12000...ouch
