Got my GIAC ecu for my 2000 Tip!
Yesterday my new GIAC ECU showed up (thanks marc), ubt Ihaven't got a chance to put it in yet. I found a really good good walkthrough from AWE herehttp://www.awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/..._AWETUNING.pdf
Does anyone have any other tips on first time install. I also got a VAG cable to hook it to my laptop. When Iinstall theECU under the hood,is it then accessable from the port under my steering wheel? With the VAG software I am hoping to recode the tip on sunday when I install the ECU.I also have a new pair of 710's on the way and a sillicone TBB. I gues since it is a 2000 Ishould look into the F-pipe? Also I already get pretty poor gas milage. I was thinking it might be the coolant sensor, is there a write up on that anywhere? I can't wait to get this bad boy in! and get my hands on some race gas to try the 100 octane program!
