I have searched the archives, read other forums and I have not really found a lot of information about anyone (VAST or JHM) beside GIAC about their Tip Chips. Does anyone have any direct experience comparing the the three of them against each other or some other sort of ancetodal evidence as to who they or others prefer?

As a side note, I am going Stage 3- in 2 weeks, I am either going for a GIAC stage 3- or a VAST custom tune, and the TIP chip will help me make my decision as to which to use.

 

Because every car reacts different to tunes I would say it is always better to get a custom tune from a good tuner. I have had a few conversations with Prince from VAST about the way they go about the stage 3- tips is very well thought through and I know that they have a lot of knowledge about that set up and transmission. There is no doubt in my mind that their tune will be just as safe and make more power than the GIAC (which they helped build the tune for).
