I searched for them on here and thought someone would have posted about this already but maybe not. They sound like they might be a pretty good alternative to the K04's. What do yall think?

OK well I didnt see it. I did a search for Garrett and the GT28rs but didnt come up with anything in the S Car forums. Anyways, mods feel free to delete.

 

will these turbos come in a kit like the K04s do? how much will they cost?

 

Im not really sure. Maybe clconversion has some more info on where that thread went. I can't find it.

 

ATP has not released any info on this yet all we know so far is that there is a direct bolt up but if it is like the GT28RS with the minifold and downpipe for the A4's then you will need to do some custom programing

 

I have not heard of anything like that... are they going to require a tougher tranny?

 

i wonder about this too..i know the s4 tranny is tough, but will an upgrade need to be made do you think? is hte rs tranny any different?

I have a question though. I have the APR Stage I like most everyone else here, does anyone fear the APR mapping might not be suitable for the GT2x?

What I mean is because the APR already maxes out your current K03 would this cause damage to a stock engines internals?

 

I believe the internals are good for 400-450hp reliably... the 6M tranny is also solid up this hp range... it's the tip-owners who can't take advantage of this upgrade
