frozen tranny?
I live in Philly and I have a 2000 B5 S4 I parked outside and after 7 hours or so I went to the car and it started fine but putting it into 1st gear was hard and shifting into second was even harder some force had to be used to push the grear shift back Has this happened to anyone before and whats the best thing to do in this situation to warmp up the tranny so its back to normal.
Thanks

RE: frozen tranny?
Yes this happend to me for like one night. However it then cleared up. Then just a few weeks ago i was getting the RS4 clutch installed and found out i had 2 shot motor mounts. I owuld deffinatley think and hop it is you tranny mounts or motor mounts. The only other thing i can think of might be stretched linkage. but if your nto throwing down good power that shouldnt happen and stretched linkage usually make the car undriveable. or VERY diff.
