ever heard this noise???
sometimes when i start my car in the morning or after it's been sitting for a while i hear a caka-ling noise(chick-a-chick) right under me.... seems to be coming from around the cat's.... i put my car on the lift here at work and checked every inch and banged on just about every part with a rubber mallet....... nothing... no sighns of where the noise could be comming from....
when i drive the car, everything is perfect... no odd noises, engine sounds perfect, no rattles... i am maybe thinking this could still be a problem with the catalitic converters? the noise, when i do hear it only last for a split second and it's gone....always on initial start up... any ideas of what this is??? .... i wonder if i could get a sound clip of it

RE: ever heard this noise???
i don't like it and don't belive it should be there..... sounds like something is loose and takes away from the awsome start up sound the engine/exhaust makes

RE: ever heard this noise???
i would hope so.... what's weird is after the car has reached normal opp temp. and i turn it off... when i re-start the car i do not hear the noise.... usually only when it's cold..... i guess i will have to put the car on the lift again to check up in the engine compartment for shields.....
can the gas motor mounts make noise like this???
