Default EPC light turned on today... GRR

Today my EPC light turned on. I checked codes and this is what came up:

2 Faults Found:

18098 - Malfunction Indication Light (K83): Electrical Malfunction

P1690 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

18084 - EPC Warning Lamp (K132) Circuit: Electrical Malfunction

P1676 - 35-00 - -

I cleared them and the P1676 code came back immediately. Is this a throttle position sensor? Or what is it and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Josh

P.S. THe car runs perfect still. Nothing noticeably different performance wise.

I have the same thing with my car. Same codes im pretty sure. I don't have the money to fix it, and it runs, so I'm just leavin it until I know what for sure is wrong with it.

I had three codes pulled:

18098 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) -K83-
Electrical Malfuntion in the electrical circuit, sporadic

18084 - Drive by Wire-MIL circuit
Electrical Malfunction in the electrical circuit

17963 - Value above maximum charge pressure, sporadic

The dealership told me the last one was most likely caused by a leak somewhere. I just pressure tested the car last week and did not find any leaks though.

I think 17963 is overboost, are you chipped? You redline a lot or something?

18084/ P1676 = ETS warning lamp - circuit malfunction, possible faults are instrumentation control module trouble code(s) stored, wiring problem, matching resistor in the ECM and that would need a good diagnostic tool to test that

I am pushing 18 pounds of boost. I did not know my car was chipped until after 6 months of owning the car and looking under the hood and stumling across the ECU that said OCT Tuning on it. The car seems to let the boost go under hard acceleration sometimes. I did not do this when I bought the car. It will just jerk and there will be no boost. The car seems to run on just the motor. I'm going to invest in a set of 007 DV's. Do you think I should look into somethin else first. I do need a boost gauge. I just found out that I was pushin that much boost last week... any thoughts?

I would checkyour TBB first for any rips then check the DV's. I had my DV's go out about three months ago and had to have the DV's replaced. It would start to build boost and then nada just engine....

I had the car pressure tested and they said it held boost fine. They said they did not see any leaks. Could the diaphram in the dv just be letting the boost go early?
