I had the medium fan put on I have been very happy with it. I did it just before it got cold. But from what I understand unless you are in the desert and not driving that should be good. I turn my fan on after I drive the car hard and I can hardly hear it.

Definitely worth the money.I felt the car reved up smother and faster. Just like putting in UD pulleys but with more of a difference and I love that If I drive the car hard I can control the fan

The fan made a huge difference on my car. I have the loud fan. I don't know what you can tolerate but I don't find the fan to be annoying. I actually like being able to here it. That way I know it is on. : )

Shouldn't be too loud, I barely hear it with the radio on. Probably makes a big difference, I put mine on when I also eliminated the a/c system and the car revs much faster. Cheap mod for all it does.

When I turn on my fan you can definitely hear it. It is a pretty commanding sound. It dose not drowned out the music or exhaust but it dose have a slight wine to the motor.

As for the intake spacers. They were another good way to go. On the 2.7 they make a bigger difference I was in a before and after ride the TQ was noticeable. The but dyno said good things

I know it a bit off topic, but does the latter year model AllRoad or A6 with the 2.7T have the EFK instead of the vicous (belt) fan?

If it does, get one off that then, rather than having to go for an aftermarket which still prob has lots of gess work in it[]

There is also a good reason Audi has gone with the belt fan, thats coz they pull huge amounts of air compared to the EFK. I'd like to see how the EFK goes on a hot day?
