Default EGT sensor problem

Hello I am having a supposed problem with my EGT sensor. My car is a 2000 S4 with a stage I tuning upgrade by O.C.Tuning and a cat back exhaust system from Milltek. The VAG shows intermittent short to ground on both sensors but they have both recently been replaced and there are seemingly no problems with the driveablility of the car.

16805 - Warm Up Catalyst; Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0421 - 35-00 - -
17866 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 2 (G236): Short to Ground
P1458 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Since that run I've reset the codes and today I got the same codes again but this time both codes on both banks. I haven't been too concerned about the Efficiency Below Threshold codes as they have been coming on for some time now without issue but the EGT sensors are worrying me since like I said they were both replaced less than 2 months ago. Also, last month my engine was knocking badly and I took it in to the shop and according to them one of the EGT sensors got disconnected somehow and needed to be reconnected. They did that at no charge since they were the ones to replace the sensors initially and that fixed the problem with the knocking and it's run normal ever since.

Sorry, also when I say normal I mean as normal as it usually is...my turbos seem to be failing recently because they make the dentist drill noise under full boost but they still seem to work pretty well. I try to avoid pushing it into making the noise so I've been taking it easy until I can afford some new turbos but when compared to the way I've been driving it, it seems completely normal even with all the codes popping up. Hope that makes sense and I'm not just rambling, if not I can clarify to the best of my knowledge. Thanks.
