Yes...youre bulbs could be dying and could be replaced..im sure it would be drastically different..but like i said above, in reality, 8000k isnt brighter than stock bulbs... its actuallymuch less
s4speedfreak...what youre saying is...virtually...correct... youre right on with the numbers and output...but its not actually colder per se... The higher the kelvin, the hotter the bulb is actually running... (now you could be correct if youre talking "colder" in terms of light color in the spectrum) ..as well be careful when saying the higher number the less light...because a 3000k (yellow bulb...usually used for fogs) has less output than a stock HID headlight.... its like a bell...it gets more and more output up to 4700 or so..then goes back down..
But in terms of light output, 4700 i believe is maximum..or 4900... I would ideally shoot for the 5100k bulbs.. I put 6000k for my fog lights... But thats cause i have a nogaro car and wanted a more blue light...lol.
