I know different sites have diff. stages and products, but when people say I have a stage 2 s4 etc., is there a general list of mods that always make up a certain stage? Like for stage 1 is it only a chip, or is it chip intake filter and cat-back exhaust? Is stage 2 everything except for intercooler and turbo upgrades? When searched there are so many differences I'd like people to post here and make a general list and progression of mods.

 

basically it goes as follows...

stage 1 - chip
stage 2 - chip + downpipes
stage 3 - upgraded turbos.

thats your basic list... you have differences in each and + and -

stage2+ chip + downpipes + fueling
stage 3- upgraded turbos no fueling. etc...

Stage 1 - Chip
Stage 2 - Chip + Catback Exhaust
Stage 2+ - Chip + Turboback Exhaust (Catback Exhaust + Downpipes/Piggies)
Stage 3- - Upgraded turbos, no fueling (still on k03 chip)
Stage 3 - Upgraded Turbos + Fueling
Stage 3+ - Anything else extra on top of stage 3, i.e. Intercoolers, etc.
