Default Darintake HELP!!!

I just performed the darintake as per the various diys that are about. I have the apr with flipswitch, and when i was running stock, it worked perfectly, but about a min after turning the chip on, the cel came on. i sealed the pipe well and made sure the box and filter were clean of debris before reinstalling it. Any ideas?

go see what the cell is, might be something not to do with the intake.

Make sure you re-connected your MAF sensor.

Autozone can read your code for you. They may just give you a generic code, but it's a start in the troubleshooting process. Does the car run right with the chip engaged? that's the most important question I suppose.it should feel like you car is breathing pretty happily with the Chip and DVs you have listed. I'm guessing you're still getting ready to run that LT1 buddy of yours. So two questions:
1. How does the car feel (CEL aside)?
2.What is your program, and what octane is available in your location(91, 93)?

1. Car feels fine. It is definitely feeling better with the new intake. The CEL went off after i checked all my connections, so thats a good sign.

2. My program is designed for 93 octane, and i am currently running reformulated (cleaner emissions) 93 oct. that they sell in milwaukee. when i get home ill get the real deal 93. It costs me a bit more but i never run less than 93.

Thanks for all your help!
